#IsabelOakeshott claims that her betrayal of confidence in releasing #MattHancock's #WhatsApp messages was "in the public interest".
Why then didn't she release them to "the public", rather than to the #Telegraph?
We now only get to see those messages that suit the political position of the Telegraph and its proprietor.
Hardly serves the #PublicInterest.

The strange behaviour of #IsabelOakeshott is more of a story than the messages she has leaked. She gets paid to write a memoir by a politician who wants to put a positive spin on what he has done. The contract includes an NDA so she can access confidential stuff. She then gets paid by a national newspaper and deliberately leaks all of the confidential stuff to the newspaper to undo that positive spin. This is #journalism?

#IsabelOakeshott is finished as a journalist, right? Regardless of the rights or wrongs of the things she leaked, nobody's ever going to trust her again... right?
