Just finished reading The Buried Giant by Kazuo #Ishiguro. It is set in (post-)Arthurian England, which is a departure for the author. But, like his other books, it deals with incomplete/gap-filled nature of memory. Definitely enjoyed it!
Me estoy leyendo "Klara and the Sun", de Kazuo Ishiguro.
An author of a few non-fiction books about biodiversity and nature conservation, biologist, previously full time journalist, 20yr of writing news and reportage on #nature #environment.
Currently scanning for new stories for books, mind open to all things nature, climate change, #biodiversity (loss) and also the beauty of life surrounding us, not just the ”bad things”.
Pop music, #literature, non-fiction. Favourite writers just now (change all the time) Jhumpa #Lahiri and Kazuo #Ishiguro.

You have to accept that sometimes that's how things happen in this world. People's opinions, their feelings, they go one way, then the other. It just so happens you grew up at a certain point in this process.
