9 followers · 36 posts · Server overland.social🏴 We explored the Hebridean Isle of Harris & Lewis, visited the stunning Callanish standing stones, stayed in a peaceful Yurt at Lickisto Blackhouse Camping & enjoyed delicious sandwiches at Blas Bhon Iar food truck. Returned to Horgabost for a beach-side camping experience and a spectacular sunset drive.

Harris impresses with unearthly, almost martian, rockscapes, golden beaches, turquoise seas, pastoral vistas & peat bogs. 1,000s of lochs, freshwater & saltwater, dot the landscape. Harris is beautiful because of, rather than in spite of, the changeable weather.
We stay at marvelous Lickisto Blackhouse Campsite, in a yurt!
