Busy last day on the #IsleOfMan today, Mrs @heapy joined us on the island for a whistlestop tour before we bring the kids home tomorrow.

#Snaefell, #TheSound and the #SteamRailway were heaving with visitors from all over the world 🌎

Virtual tours have been filmed of 18 mountain and coastal glens on the Isle of Man specifically to open up access to disabled people.

Anyway, back from the #IsleOfMan. An interesting place with truly spectacular scenery.

Best of all, it is a bit like Skye, or Orkney. It's not homogenised like so many towns and cities in the UK and not open 24/7.

Things are a little bit.. "off"...in a good way. As in the signposting being different and the traffic more relaxed and no McDonalds/Starbucks every few miles.

We enjoyed it, and will be back for a little longer.

I hereby invite all British people to ignore this authoritarian 'gesture' and get rid of this old royal scumbag ASAP! I also invite all Scottish, Irish, Welch, Manx and Cornish people to burn the British flag! Oh fuck that... English people too! 🔥🇬🇧🔥

*Our intrepid travellers cross the Fairy Bridge, Santon, #IsleOfMan

“Apparently a dangerous bit of road this. People say hello to the fairies as a local superstition”
“It’s a straight road! How can it be dangerous?!”
“No idea”

Several hours later our travellers return in the opposite direction. They get to the Fairy Bridge where police are attending to a car facing the wrong way and in a ditch.

“What the… *HOW*?! How did they even do that?!”
“Dunno, but just to be sure…hello fairies!”
