Rain today, summer rain, summer sun too so a day of changes and alterations to what to wear. New waterproof trousers and new Wellington boots. Joy. A walk to the beach near us. It’s a walk we suggest to our guests if the want a quiet walk away from the crowds. It’s Skye at its best. Sea and sky and a changing coast. Calm and curiously exciting.

Absolutely fantastic afternoon on Skye, although without dogs this time😕 (they seemed to have snjoyed their afternoon off in our beautiful cabin). We took a boat trip on Bella Jane (the dogs could have come but we decided they needed a break). First we had to get there. On single track roads for ~20 km.
