#ISO appears to have changed SHORT name of the #Netherlands in its widely-used #countrycodes list from "Netherlands (the)" to "Netherlands (Kingdom of the)", making it same as the official long version name. This would usually follow a change at the UN. Anyone know what's going on?

North #Korea has changed the status of #Kaesong from a "special city" to a "metropolitan city". I'm not sure what that entails.
