My home #ISP (Tier 3, #Telecolumbus AG / #pyur #AS16202 ) isn’t offering me decent speeds (150 instead of 1000 Mbit/s) when I connect to servers they have no #peering connection with.

Any ideas how I can make the people at the #techSupport understand the issue? Last time they were extremely confused and assumed I did something borderline criminal normal people couldn’t.

Later someone fixed the issue, but it appears that I’m not being allow-listed permanently. This is extremely annoying.

It's been a pain here in #Germany having to rent a #modem / #router combo provided by #Telekom without other options: no standalone modems, no bridge mode. I'm not seeing any third-party modems on the marketplace, so while not technically a victim of #RouterLockIn , because Telekom isn't the one limiting my choices, I don't have the #RouterFreedom from my #ISP that the @fsfe is a proponent of.

Anyone got any idea why an #ISP might suddenly apparently reject a router's password?

Because #ISP|s have to #DROP shit all the time or else their core networks would be abused to the point they'd be disconnected as well like #A2Binternet was for being the #Upstream of the notorious #CyberBunker.
"Let courts and cops handle this" didn't work against #NorthKorea or the #RBN, so why should it work on #KiwiFarms?
The only thing that works is #NameThemBlameThem and #boycott, #divest & #sanction everyone suppling KiwiFarms!
