Whenever I see such vociferous support for the #IsraeliGovernment's #JudicialOverhaul legislation, I think that if this is passed, and a more center-left government returns to power, these same politicians and protestors will be protesting pretty vehemently against the government having this power.

The current #IsraeliGovernment doesn't seem to understand that democracy is also reflected in a majority of citizens opposing the coalition's moves to neuter the #Judiciary, regardless of how many votes they received at the last election.

Their election isn't a permission to ignore citizens after they are in the government.

This so-called #JudicialReform legislation they are promoting will have devastating consequences for Israeli society, our democracy, and quite possibly the future of the #JewishState.
