We’re playing with 3 players, but it would also make for one hell of a #sologame if you don’t mind the 2-3 time investment. I emphasize investment on this one in particular.

Increasingly, some board games are not what I expect as a strategy game, but instead are "interactive fiction" games, like Zork and such, but in board game form.

I posted a blog post on BGG about narrative-heavy board games and how I need to think of them as a distinct category.

Several recent games have been the trigger for this thought, but ISS Vanguard especially.
