Trans rights are being posed as the alt-right's "one step too far." Children's health and sports are just a distraction. (Ask an Olympian how many trans athletes were turned away from competition. Or at all.) Detransitioning is being used as a false equivalence to reject all arguments in favor of Trans Rights. ("Because it exists, all trans people are wrong" is about as correct as "because one man doesn't sexually harass women, (#)MeToo is made up.")

What centrists don't get is that they can't hold any GOP promises of restraint at their word. Lying to liberals about how far the GOP wants to take their agenda is becoming a sport to them. At every opportunity, they will deny, discredit, destroy. Gay, BIPOC, Religious and Women's rights are the next dominoes in line if we let trans rights fall. Nothing new has happened to make the GOP change their mind. Civil rights were always in danger.

At the Trans in the City Gala to celebrate incredible trans activists and organisations.
Last night’s gala was the largest ever gathering of trans, non-binary, gender-fabulous people and their allies (outside of Pride) . At the end of the evening all proclaimed as one #IStandWithTrans.
