It’s been a very good experience here in Umag, Croatia - but now it’s time to get back home to Denmark 🇩🇰

Having been part of such a huge event as the “Istria 100 by UTMB” has been a privilege. A fantastic running experience for me personally. But also to be in the midst of all these trail runners - many of which achieved their personal goals. The joy and proudness in all runners is just: 👌🏼

#istria100 #running - it was as if the red route runners were super heroes (they finished 168k) - even during the winner celebration: when a red racer came in during that - people turned around and cheered heavily for this late finisher instead. Amazing

Kimino Miyazaki 🇯🇵 wins the 100-mile “Red” women’s race at the Istria 100 by UTMB in 23:11:21, ahead of Mariya Nikalova 🇧🇬 (25:28:20) and Stefania Buzincu 🇷🇴 (26:26:29).

Alright. So I’ve checked in and got my start package. Passed the mandatory gear check too. So now I’m sitting at the hotel restaurant and enjoying my last supper (… before the race tomorrow 😂)

So … travel has begun: waiting in the airport in Billund, Denmark 🇩🇰. Flying to Frankfurt first … then Trieste afterwards.
