Last day of #ITA2023
Thank you to Dr. Orlitsky and all the volunteers from #UCSD that made it possible. Going to ITA makes the rest of the year more enjoyable and a lot more productive.
This interdisciplinary conference is very laid back and a lot of fun, too. While not an #opensource event, it is something that makes it possible to put energy into difficult open source projects.
Lunch is never "on your own" when you have something to read.
I can report a great victory!
My table (Team 0xA) won the Valentines Social AI Infused Competition at #ITA2023 this evening.
Alon Orlitsky personally signed the IOU for the Gold Prize.
Second day at #ITA2023 coming right up. Inspiring, collegial, useful stuff. Very happy to be here.
Interested in #InformationTheory? No idea what it's all about?

I'm at #ITA2023 #conference this week and the fun thing about searches for ITA (Information Theory and Applications) is that the bags designed to show off collectible pins (called ita bags) keep showing up. So much cute and creative stuff out there!
