One of the things I love them most about living off grid is being surrounded by life (and dead).
Small and bigger animals everywhere. Our kids love to play with ants or bugs. We see toads, snakes and lizards. Once we found a dead genet cat in a dry well. The curiousity and exploration of our kids is high when it comes to animals.
