@tero @pare Olis tosi tärkeää, että just alalla olevat miehet tekis tätä ongelmaa näkyväksi, koska muuten asia ei muutu miksikään. Me "kiukkuiset feministit" aina vaan räksytetään turhasta, eli se on aika kivinen tie muuttaa mitään ilman full supportia tiedostavilta jäbiltä alalla. Kirjoittakaa mielipidekirjoituksia alan lehtiin, pitäkää keskustelua yllä someissa, metelöikää keskustelupalstoilla, jutelkaa kahvihuoneessa, valistakaa isoja herroja, mitä ikinä. Kaikki on plussaa. 💪

Voi morjes, pilasin synttäriaamuni lukemalla vertaispalautteita muilta kurssin oppilailta.

Vastasin niin julmetun huolella, viittasin lukuisiin lähteisiin ja toin tätä tasa-arvokulmaa esiin sitä kautta.
"Yllättäen" mun miniesseet on arvioitu paskoiksi ja perusteluissa itkua siitä, kuinka "Ei miehiä voi syyttää siitä että ne kiinnostuu teknologiasta!" ja "Miesten syyllistäminen ei ratkaise mitään!".
Ja täähän ei suinkaan ilmennä mitään systeemitason ongelmaa. Jippii..

Tein viikonloppuna yhden tekoälykurssin (kiitos adhd ja hyperfokusoituminen).
Mutta:
Yksi moduuleista oli AI ja syrjintä, mutta materiaaleissa ei sanallakaan mainittu IT-alan äärimmäisen vääristynyttä sukupuolijakaumaa ja vähemmistöjen puuttumista. Ylipäänsä tasa-arvo-ongelmat ja diversiteetin puute alan sisällä jätettiin kokonaan huomiotta.
Perkele. Just nää kurssit olis the kanava tuoda tätä näkyväksi.

Mulla on vähän palautetta ko. kurssista vastaavalle professorisdudelle.

I have not seen that much reporting on this (which is surprising), but #AppleWatch is facing a potential import ban in the #UnitedStates 🇺🇸 over patent violations.
