I agree in spirit but, in practice there are almost no games I'd pay this much for.
Only one I can think of is #Ryzom as that's an open source #MMORPG.
I think I'm mostly over online games otherwise.
In practice, I wait for massive sales on #GOG, #itch, and #Steam. I just can't afford to budget much on #videogames let alone any other media.
I'd definitely have to play it for a bit to determine it's worth.
Wouldn't be such a problem is regular people got paid more.

... but the user has *already* clicked to load and launch the game, so it seems there should be no reason to require another click. I know I've seen WebGL games on itch that don't have this problem.
Does anyone know a workaround?

I helped @gordsellar playtest #SomethingTookish, which is now available on #Itch. It is a cozy Hobbit mystery game that never leaves your neighborhood of The Shire. Low stakes mystery with clever Hobbit themed moves. Loved playing it whenever we got the chance.
