TFW you find a dress that seems to tick all the boxes, but when you get it to the fitting room it just does you no favours at all… except instead of ‘finding’ it, you just spent two days making it. 🙄

I also make my own clothes in order to have as many pockets as possible. Mine are more overgrown toddler in a dungaree dress than anything this fancy but maybe I should step my game up? I sewed a thing! I got this fabric cheap on Easy because the seller thought it was a wool blend. It definitely isn't, but I thought it could still make a cute skirt, so I kind of just threw it together in an evening using scrap satin for the lining and pockets. It's not completely done as it needs a zipper and some skirt hooks, but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out! #sewing #ItHasPockets
