So I live in MAGA country. We have already taken down our yard signs for our own safety. The woman being killed in California over a pride flag is really upsetting to me because I can see it happening here. Maybe even to my own family. In the meantime, my pride flag is still flying, but a flag flying in my yard shouldn't put myself or my family in danger. And the truth of the matter is that it absolutely does.
