Took me a while to put words on my experience, but I finally realized: I was gaslighted big time in one of my last job. I was in a toxic environment for a while on a project; I got out of there just before a second burn out on that project alone to work on other projects in the company. I was gaslighted during that toxic project and afterwards as well.

Haven't found a decent corporation since either... but I'm more accepting now.

- Run Project Management for the engineering team of Developers, QA, signature Development and DevOps to deliver complex projects

Looking for some #itjobs #jobsearch advice from the toot-hive: I've been with my current SMB org since 2008, and was promoted to from IT Director to a new CIO position in 2021, but it's really just CIO in title (I'm a Director, VPIT at best, still doing plenty of ITOps work while playing CISO/PM/BA, and comp is low as well). This is actually a big part of what's driving the search; I feel like they threw the title at me to shut me up and absolutely nothing changed structurally or otherwise.

I'm targeting remote Director/Manager/ITVP positions at larger orgs - is the CIO title on my CV hurting me? I had it ATS-optimized, which I think definitely helped, but I'm watching the rejection mails flow in and the Imposter Syndrome is cranked tf up right now.
