Toll, jetzt ändere ich am Router Namen und Passwörter, jetzt funktioniert der Firestick nicht mehr und hat abwechselnd Signal und kein Signal für das neue WLAN.

My name is #Axle and I am an #ITProfessional of 25+ years!

I am married to my husband @ShaunAranda and we have two wonderful furry daughters living in #NewMexico.

I run the instance ourtribeonline.com for friends and family; and, truth be told, I enjoy the technical side of things more than tooting.
Any of Shaun or I's family or friends can request to join.

So what if I don't post much, I am a BIG introvert; however, I am working on trying to get myself into a more tooting mood; because, lets just say, PTSD sucks!

I have a Spock-ish sense of humor; and yes I enjoy #StarTrek :StarTrek:

My humor is also like #Daria dry, sarcastic, and intelligent!

#TheMunsters are the #FirstFamilyOfFright which is a show that can be watched over and over again!

I also enjoy some #AddamsFamily every once in awhile; but especially enjoy an #ElviraMistressOfTheDark along side #Clue movies.

I run a peer tube server that I will use for my videos on here. And I'm hoping to follow my passion of creating/editing videos and making gifs.

I appreciate all sorts of content, including #nsfw, and will favourite stuff I like! So, please be kind, and don't be upset that I am not much of a booster.

I guess I try to include as much as I can in one toot; so, I will stop for now and toot later.

As an #ITProfessional, my corporate calendar has three hard blockers on it:

1. The first hour of the day, where I review the overnight messages and make coffee.
2. Lunch. Knowledge, like the army, marches on its stomach.
3. Naptime, about an hour after lunch. Turns out all that thinkin' and knowin' stuff can be tiring.

Attempt to take this time at your own peril.

My belated #Mastodon #Introduction. Here we go:

I’m a 40-ish #itprofessional and tech enthusiast from #Denmark. It all began with a Commodore 64 in the early 90’s. I like the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Knight Rider, AirWolf, and The A-Team … oh yeah, and The Stand by Stephen King.

I live in a small village with my wife, our daughter, and our German Sheppard.

I am an IT professional working with #InformationSecurity, #OSINT, #ITIL, and #Quantitative Risk Management in https://www.aci.dk.
 I find personal productivity tools, processes and methodologies very interesting. I’ve been an avid #GTD practitioner for many years and have had fun testing lots of different tools. I (try to) practice #InboxZero and currently have #Todoist, #BrainToss, #Obsidian, #Outlook, and #OneNote in my toolbox.

I don’t work with hands-on technical IT anymore, although I still enjoy it. So I like tinkering in my #HomeLab with things like #networking, #Ubiquiti, #Proxmox, #HomeAssistant, #Pihole, #Github, #Linux #Jekyll, #Ansible and lots of other fun projects. #keeplearning.

I enjoy both the Danish and English language; speaking, writing and grammar. Alas, my punctuation sucks badly.

I find writing with a good #fountainpen on good quality paper to be very rewarding. It’s just a nice feeling. Creating notes is helpful for me, after surviving a stroke - two clots in my brain - in 2021. It resulted in what is called #WallenbergSyndrome. Most notably, for me, I just get tired a bit faster than I used to. Planning my days and a nap around noon is necessary 👍 😴

#AboutMe A Bachelor of Science degree in #Communication was conferred upon me years ago. While I've been an #ITprofessional for 25+ years, my formal education in #Communication has been INDISPENSABLE. Business, Professional, Strategic, Interpersonal, Nonverbal, Mass. All disciplines provided me with a well-rounded approach when interacting with people. Oh, and I had a double minor in #Management and #Psychology.

Just point me in the direction of strategic IT stuff and watch the magic happen.
