I will forever treasure my #nerdiest memory ever from #itrs2023. A ferry full of scientists going to a posh party suddenly goes wild cheering (for a surprisingly long time) and nearly entirely shifts to the starboard of the boat because suddenly they spotted #kelp rising out of the shallows. #AlgaeNerds
