On the way home yesterday we stopped at #TenEyckBrewing in #Queenstown, #Maryland to stretch our legs and grab a pint. I got a delicious pour of Four Lights, a 10% ABV foeder aged imperial stout collab with #BreweryFire. I don't come here enough, but it truly is a perfect stopping point on the way to or from the eastern shore from #Baltimore, especially if you travel with dogs. #ItsAlwaysStoutSeason @beersofmastodon

Sunday's final stop was to #FloodZoneBrewery in #UnionBridge, #Maryland to try their new S.S. Stout, a 6.5% ABV oatmeal stout on nitro that's light and smooth enough for those that normally avoid stouts in the warmer months. We sat out by the water and took in some live music. Nictofilia - Bourbon Barrel Aged Peanut Butter & Vanilla Stout - Black as tar, 8,6% alcohol, no foam. You'd expect something sweet to chew on, but actually it is a bit "waterish" and not too sweet. A bit of Bourbon and vanilla, but not much peanut. #itsalwaysstoutseason #craftbeer @beersofmastodon

I headed to #SuskyRiverBeverageCo in #Perryville, #Maryland today. I got myself the Powder Boy dry Irish stout and the River Rat Rye stout. The standout of the day was the River Rat Rye. They've got such an incredibly beautiful space that's both dog and family friendly. If not before, I will definitely be back this fall. Thanks to @porch.beers.usa for hanging out for a couple hours! Tonight I'm staying in and drinking this Cafe Latte Crab Hammer by #CrookedCrabBrewing. It's super smooth, moderately sweet, and the coffee and vanilla are perfectly balanced. I'm not always sold on milk stouts, but I would definitely drink this one again. #ItsAlwaysStoutSeason @beersofmastodon

Yesterday was a quick stop into #DigDeepBrewing in #Cumberland, #Maryland to try their Sticky Fingers cinnamon bun stout. I haven't been here in nearly two years, and it was nice coming back. The stout was light, and semi sweet. All the adjuncts were subtle enough to not overpower this one, and at 4.2% ABV, very crushable. #ItsAlwaysStoutSeason @beersofmastodon

Today we headed to #BrewersAlley in #Frederick, #Maryland for a pint and lunch. I got myself the Brickhouse Oatmeal Stout, which I enjoyed. We grabbed some Old Bay boneless wings and a turkey avocado wrap. I grabbed 5oz pours of their nut brown and IPA before heading out. I got myself the Rise Up on nitro, an always enjoyable coffee stout. I followed by the Lucky 7 porter. We got salads and split a crabby pie with chicken. Tonight I had a Roots of Yggdrasil by #SagaBrewingCompany in #Maryland. This was the best peanut butter beer I've ever had. Smooth and creamy, sweeter than most, but the peanut butter was flavorful but not overbearing. I really did not pick up the chocolate. I took my time drinking this one, and the flavor was still pleasant when warm. #ItsAlwaysStoutSeason @beersofmastodon

Another great show at #KeyBrewing. I really enjoyed the Olde Man Strength stout, and at 4.6% ABV, it really is the perfect beer for me to enjoy a summer show.
