I was the first Mastodon person to use #itsprettyhere that my server is showing me. But there are hits on Insta. From those, I conclude people find the following features pretty in a place (in order): water, mountains, the sky, trees, smiling women, snow, and unusual or very old buildings.

I could easily get six of those into one photo on a clear day without traveling more than a few miles from home. No idea how I'd convince the forest service to build an artistic building by my lake though.

I can see snow from my (temporary) house! (My living situation is complicated right now.) I love it!
