Me: Sure, but your diags don't test hardware accelerated GPU
Them: But the display is working

Has anyone seeing this, my #Mechanicalkeyboard has started to add extra characters in when typing. For example when I use the Q key it add a 9 like this q9 or Q9 - or when I use the ! Key it add * like this !*
Any ideas? I tried unplugging and replugging, turning off pc and turning on, turning off pc with keyboard unplugged and re turning on with keyboard unplugged then plugged in after boot up. #techsupport #itsupport #techadvice

I want those 4 hours of my life back. User's HP printer stuck in a firmware update loop. Tries to download. Fails. Rinse repeat every day. Clearly an #HP side problem, but their forums swear just reinstall the drivers to fix it 🙄
Driver reinstall is hanging during the background software suite download. Hmmm - coincidence? I think NOT! Somehow the printer hard resets to defaults - no big deal, right? RIGHT???

Not everyday we test a line and get:
"DANGEROUS VOLTAGE ON LINE - HAZARDOUS TO PERSONNEL"
as the test result.
I got a BarraCuda SATA drive making a lot of loud noise (audio) after PC wakes up from sleep. #Windows monitoring app confirms it's idle. SeaTool app spin-down test confirms it's the drive making noise. Noise happens for about 15-20 min, then normal silent operation—no performance issues. SeaTool app tests passed. Seagate support said it's normal. But it only started recently.

#IT question of the day. When dealing with terminated #WFH employees, how do you get them to return equipment in a timely manner? We have #employees that will not send #equipment even after disabling the devices and continuously communicating they need to be returned.
I see a few services cropping up that deal with this, but with a starting price of $200 per #laptop it seems a bit high.

If we are going to move away from logmein for ad hoc remote connections to customer computers to something else, (partly for $$ reasons) that is EASY for the end user to give us access, what do you recommend? It needs to be something we can set up easy access to remote users as required, while assisting said users, including users who we have not connected to before.
TeamViewer? Zoho assist? AnyDesk? I know @sylmobile got a couple of suggestions recently, that I have not found in a quick search.. It is mainly connecting to Windows PCs, occasional Macs...
