Almost everyone on my last team was brand new to #infosec except for 1 person who had some experience but was still relatively new to the infosec role. I committed to lowering barriers to help broaden the talent pool. During the Amazon acquisition, I invited every team member to the table so they could be seen and heard by all. I got questioned, but I did it anyway. Today, every one of them is still there doing incredible work for #Amazon.

I intend to do the same here. It's not enough for me to just protect #democracy. I'm going to do it by democratizing opportunities and inviting others to join the fight to defend the progressive ecosystem. #ItTakesAllOfUs
