Within the #ITZauber research project, #RWTH Aachen, TU Dresden, and industry partner ROM-Technik are working on a #digitaltwin for #HPC data centers.

A digital twin can be used to monitor, analyze, and optimize the system and also to test new configurations and settings before they are deployed in the physical #datacenter.

The project already completed the initial modeling of the cooling and energy re-use infrastructure at ZIH at TU Dresden (see picture) and IT Center RWTH Aachen.
