Thank you for joining the OCEAN:ICE session last Friday at #IUGG2023!
π Panelists Wilma Huneke, Helene Seroussi, Sophie Nowicki, Ariaan Purich, and Ric Williams, convened by Andrew Meijers led an insightful conversation on ice sheets, ice-ocean interactions, and freshwater input in the Antarctic climate system. βοΈ We will be summing up the key discussion outcomes in our upcoming milestone report, so stay tuned! π

During yesterday's Big Theme Panel Discussion at #IUGG2023, I had the opportunity to speak about the needs, wishes and demands of early career researchers. I represented IASC and APECS Germany. Thanks to all who attended!

And the 5 days of #IAHS - International Association of Hydrological Sciences sessions at the #IUGG2023 come to an end. The new IAHS Decade "HELPING" - Hydrology Engaging Local People IN one Global world - is officially launched after a very fruitful, succesfull and inspiring "Panta Rhei" decade. It's been a pleasure and an honour to meet big names of the field. Untill next time!

Looking forward to the start of #IUGG2023 tomorrow, excited to present a follow up of my doctoral thesis there on Friday, and keep up all through the weekend!
I've never been to an event from #IAHS (or the "umbrella" IUGG) and I hope to see many old colleagues there and also make new ones :)
I'm off for a few days. Back next week.
In the mean time keep an eye on #Greenland - where the melt season is at its most intense period.
See you at #IUGG2023 in Berlin..
Will you be at #IUGG2023 in Berlin next week?
Join us for the OCEAN:ICE breakout session.Explore Antarctic coastal circulation, ice sheet-ocean processes, and more with our expert panelists on July 14th, 08:30-10:00 (CEST), Room R2. The session will also be hosted online so you can still tune in and be part of the discussion.
