somehow I got @ivory stuck on showing boosts only. Almost had to just get a new phone. Thankfully, the search icon had some badging that made me click it ( eventually )

I have a question. When I reply to a toot, all the usernames except the first one are highlighted (and marked).

Is #Ivory doing this by purpose? Can I change this behavior?

@TexasCre8ive Oh this is odd! I can do it on my iPhone using the #Ivory app and on desktop with my Mac. Hopefully someone else has an idea for you. Btw I really enjoyed the photos you shared today.

Why is Mastodon like this? Is it bc my server isn’t federated w the poster’s server? Or is it just a bug?

@hopet Ich nutze die #MonaApp nur auf dem #iPhone. Daher kann ich leider nichts berichten. So gefällt mir die App aber sehr gut. #Ivory ist mir ehrlich gesagt ein wenig zu teuer. Meine Follower und mein Account sind noch recht übersichtlich. Es gibt auch so viele Alternativen. Drücke dir die Daumen das du die richtige Lösung für dich findest.

@JohnConstableRA I have an #Android phone, and I never used the generic Mastodon app but started directly with one of the alternatives (currently #Tusky, thinking about a switch to #fedilab)

From what I understand is that many #iPhone users have also switched to one of the other apps (basically to anything but #Mastodon), like #IceCubes, #Toot, #Mammoth, #Mona or #Ivory. Some are free, others paid. You could check the posts from @feditips.

Can’t believe Mona only gets 10% as it’s wildly more configurable and feature rich than the others. I even follow a lot of my #RSS feeds in it thanks to feedsin.space

Looks like @ivory is the preferred #Mastodon mobile client by a wide margin. I can see that. Well crafted. Very stable. Great performance.

Weird Ivory for Mac bug. If I hit the home key by accident it will literally scroll through every post in my feed instead of right to the top. Maybe that's a "feature" though? #ivory

Si quieres traducir un tweet tienes que dar 2 clic, las citas de otras publicaciones las muestras como un enlace 💀, no puedes modificar home y notificaciones en la barra inferior. Me vuelvo a Mona 🙈

@chris I use it but it is not my default browser. I like that #ivory allows me to use it anyway. Made a feature request to #Mona for the same option. Great combo. Never reach article limits and hit the 🔥when finished reading links.
