Oh god, are we going to get a scene where Stede realizes Izzy’s in love with Ed? Maybe even Stede trying to ask him about it or acknowledge it, and Izzy’s so resigned to the mess he’s in that he’s just like, “yeah, obviously.” I’d also fully embrace a protesting-too-much denial from Izzy.

The idea that Stede might come to actually appreciate Izzy is just sending me into outer space. This is so good.

I’m wondering how they’re going to fit this many characters into 8 half hour episodes. It feels like way too much, but I’m happy we’re getting more women in S2.

I’m trying to keep my Izzy-related expectations very low but it sounds like there will be a continued focus on Izzy being weird about Ed, which is probably the best I could hope for. “Unrequited” closes doors I’d prefer were left open, but it’s in line with what Con’s said before.
