On the viewers left side is a Western Union - Main Line (120 Ohms) sounder. On the viewers right side is a J38 telegraph key for sending Morse code.

The model J-38 is a telegraph key used by U.S. military during World War II, and frequently re-used by radio amateurs and collectors.
