I'm reading Jack Charles' "Born-again Blakfella", a Christmas gift. One of the many remarkable things in his tale of sometimes appalling wretchedness, is his complete lack of self-pity. What a totally remarkable and wonderful man he was. We need more like him, with his kindness, humanity, and love. #jackcharles
