Just picked up my copy of Thrifty Kitchen today, the most recent recipe book from Jack Monroe.
For all her controversies, and her ability to be a lightning rod distracting from others trying to achieve similar goals, I REALLY like Jack Monroe. Most people are a mix of bad and good, and I think their good far outweighs the bad. I wish she'd discover the more pleasant space of Mastodon after being so busy for so long on Twitter.

I’ve followed the saga of #JackMonroe for a while. Everyone’s life is subjective and can be viewed from many perspectives. I think Simon Hattenstone proves again what a brilliant interviewer and researcher he is. This feels honest without being brutal or too blinkered.
