There is an excellent play about her at the Fringe next week. Reviews of the first night (yesterday) were very positive.

Difficult to see and difficult to photograph. This horseshoe is set into the middle of the road in #Kelso and is said to mark the spot where Bonnie Prince Charlie 's horse threw a shoe in 1745 on his way south from Edinburgh to Carlisle during the #JacobiteRising .
