267 followers · 409 posts · Server mastodon.ie@vegafilm I was blithely reading #ValleyOfTheDolls (a best-selling adult, trollopy trash heap of a saucy, racy, sex riddled, sexist, qwap-lit novel in the 1960s by #JacquelineSusann--sorry JS), when my father asked if I understood what it was all about because it was possibly to old for ne and I replied: of course I understand! (I didn't)...so I read it to the end in one sitting. And its awful dung like quality kept me from chick lit forever after, so thanks Susann and lawless Dad...
