Tak som včera konečne rozohral nový #JaggedAlliance3 a hneď na úvod ma tam úplne rozbil ten I.M.P. test, ako za starých dobrých čias. Už dlho som sa u hry tak dobre nezasmial 🤣 Ale koruna najlepších odpovedí zostáva #JaggedAlliance2. Na hlášky "Jednoduše stisknu "R" jako Raketomet" a "Psychickým Paprskem Smrti ho vytlačím ze silnice" za volantom spomínam bežne, keď stretnem nejakého blbca na cestách 😅

Ein Klassiker der Rundenstrategie von ~1997.
Wie es so ist mit Klassikern, es finden sich Menschen die diese bewahren wollen, damit auch andere sie genießen können.
Das "Stracciatella"-Projekt ist ein loser Zusammenschluss dieser Menschen. Es bietet eine Engine um den Titel auf moderner Hardware verbessert ausführen zu können.

I've been slightly irked by the right mouse button activating twice per click while playing #JaggedAlliance2. Thought it was related to the game being old and its timing misbehaving for the clicks.
BUT this game just did the same thing. So ... My mouse might be starting to act up?

I'm so out of the loop, what are people getting these days? Don't think I need actual gaming stuff. Currently using Razer Lycosa and Copperhead.

In other news, I just finished #JaggedAlliance2. The ending is always a bit anticlimactic I guess, but then it feels more realistic that the queen isn't an OP bullet sponge.

Her behaviour is a little unexpected when you turn up in her panic room. She's a civilian, and you can interact with her as such. You can talk to her, but she doesn't surrender, or beg for her life, anything like that. To my surprise, there aren't even any specific voice lines when Miguel talks to her.

I've thought about why I enjoy playing #JaggedAlliance2 so much. Usually a game this old would be a #nostalgia trip for the most part, but it's something else here, I don't feel nostalgic.
I think it's the uncompromising depth of its systems, but without overwhelming the player with information. Instead, you get a feel for what does and doesn't work.

Still working with Iggy in #JaggedAlliance2. Both Carlos and Miguel have voiced their concern about him being on the team.

He's been loyal though so far. Dunno if he'll betray us in the throne room. Don't think it'd do him much good anyway.

I've bought 5.7 ammo whenever I saw it for sale, since it's rare.
I never found a weapon that uses it, and I'm standing at the gates of Meduna now.

Also I haven't encountered a single active mine in my entire campaign. All my mercs are carrying metal detectors because I've had bad experiences in the past.

Mein letzter Playthrough ist etwas her, aber ich hab' irgendwie ein schlechtes Gefühl dabei? Als würde er mich verraten? Er sagte dass er mit Mike gearbeitet hatte (der tot ist) und als er über die Mission nachgedacht hat die Seiten wechseln wollte. Und nun wolle er die Verräter aufmischen. Man kann ja über Deidrannas Regime vieles sagen, aber "Verräter"?

Und warum hat er beim ersten Feindkontakt daneben geschossen??

... und dass man 2000 $ für einen Helikopterflug ausgibt um für 1000 $ Waffen in San Mona zu verkaufen lohnt sich doch oder?

Dass man in #JaggedAlliance2 alle Items an einem Ort zusammensammelt ist doch normal oder? Und das man einen Söldner rekrutiert der nur dort sitzt und Items repariert auch. Oder?

Ist eigentlich mal jemandem aufgefallen dass die eine Explosion im Intro von #JaggedAlliance2 wie die Chronosphäre aus #CommandAndConquer #RedAlert klingt?
