Having used Google #Jamboards for collaboration since early 2020, it took three years for Google to enshittify this app into an near unusable state.
The tablet interface is frustrating to use to create new frame contents, which is the only function. It has been decoupled from Drive products, so it is harder to find and set up for new users and had become harder to use as the UI simplifies.
It's quickly becoming a dysfunctional waste of a whiteboard. Anyone know any cross-platform alternatives?
Adapting a one page #numbskulls RPG for a Jamboard was easy, but the biggest hit of the night was player frame. Their character sheet came with a skeleton they needed to dress like a paper doll for fun.
Players loved developing their style with cut and paste clothing from Google image searches. Designers, take note, character dress up remains fun!

A Twitter auction (Musk effect) lists Jamboards starting $50. Don't know if they ship but if you are in San Francisco, or know any educational institutions there, pass this on to them as this a fantastic tool for instructional purposes.
Jamboards are collaborative digital whiteboards, great for education purposes. They look like TVs and sell for over $4k.
