Briefly – but memorably – a #film star in the mid-'60s, displaying her looks/physique in #movies like ONE MILLION YEARS B.C., FANTASTIC VOYAGE, & the disastrous #MyraBreckenridge, in which she's the sultry result of a sex-change op. (She and costar #MaeWest didn't get along at all.)
At her best in #JamesIvory's underrated #TheWildParty (1975), a precursor to last year's #Babylon.
Welch's orgiastic dance at her 1920s #Hollywood party is 1 of #cinema's highlights.
