When he won the primaries, Trump showed me the truly ugly face of the GOP. I used to think the racists & bigots & wackos who wanted a Christo-Fascist #theocracy--the amoral hypocrites who claimed to be #ProLife but who also defended machine #guns--were a few folks on the outside fringe of the party.

The fact that Trump got so much support-- and still has it now, despite his countless lies, insanity, and even #Jan6thInsurrection-- proves that those folks are in fact the mainstream of the #GOP.

I don't see the gun slaughter ending until the Dems control the House AND Senate AND WH. I also don't foresee us getting basic #HealthCare change without that liberal supermajority. I don't see ACTUAL "Life" policies implemented under the right.
