Well, it's good to meet so many great #authors, on Mastodon. I was a #JaneYolen fan even back in the 1990's. I read The Devil's Arithmetic as required reading, and I was so enamored with the author that I read the entire Pit #Dragon Trilogy, which is delightfully disturbing if you interpret the treatment the dragons as a metaphorical representation of the mass dehumanization of entire races and classes of human beings. I think #NaomiNovik got it, thus the socialist vibe in her own dragon #books.
