Congratulations from a guy who has five since #January2023ConnectAThon

Added a lot of #Hollerbach people from the #Perjamos/#Periam family book to #WikiTree during #January2023ConnectAThon. I didn't add the youngest generations born in the 1930s and 1950s without a death date given, because they would have lead to hidden profiles and I have almost no chance of ever learning about their death. Also from a #DSGVO / privacy point of view it's wrong to store "their data", even if it's hidden, I guess. Somehow it feels like incomplete work anyway.

Kept bragging that I didn't pick up any additional to check or to do tasks during #January2023ConnectAThon at #WikiTree. Actually I just found over 50 emails to myself containing "later" notes from the contest. This might take some time. #Genealogy

@Flominator @genealogy I felt like "I have to do something else than looking at the profiles I created in the #January2023ConnectAThon. I even didn't build that many categories today, but at least I looked for a family I can connect to the Big Tree. Connecting loose branches is something like my new "feelgood programm at #WikiTree

Thanks. I was building connections and adding mainly unrelated people (quality expectations on direct ancestor profiles are higher) for the first half until being pushed by the competition to focus on large families with lots of children #January2023ConnectAThon

Woke up with #genealogy hangover, which might have to do with #January2023ConnectAThon (amplified by being hungry). Feeling pretty overwhelmed with all the source checking and other tasks I want to do to meet my own quality expectations for existing ancestor profiles - not to mention the known ones I still "have to" add to #WikiTree. Any like-minded #geneadons out there?

Wow. That was fun. Germany Genies reached #3 in total number of profiles created and #2 in profiles per team member. When I woke up, we were still at #6 total, but with a lot of group effort (and most of the Americans in the other teams asleep) we made it. #January2023ConnectAThon #WikiTree

Taking part in the #January2023ConnectAThon on #WikiTree (3/52/2023). Trying to get old documented connections into #WikiTree this weekend. For me a very new challenge working to statistics never done that before, hoping the profiles are not loosing to much on accuracy caused by the rush.
