Someone told me this before but I forgot. When posting a picture of something online and mentioning something in the picture, do I use "この", "その" or "あの" or does it depend on context?

As an old Japanese expression, あお, 青(blue) includes green color.
This traffic light indicates 青 in modern Japanese.

"want" can be expressed as something that sounds like hochu in Ukrainian (and Russian) and hoshii in Japanese. I don't think there's any connection, but I like these sort of synchronicities

A successful round of Tadoku completed! This has been my highest personal score so far since I’ve joined Tadoku contests. The last highest number of pages I read was around 600. My Japanese reading will slow down a bit as I catch up on my native language novels (library books and personal ones) and also focus on writing my own novel. ☺️

とつくにの少女 vol. 6
Fans of dark fairy-tale stories with found families may enjoy this series. While the overall reading isn’t too difficult in terms of vocabulary, the main challenge is reading between the lines the vague dialogue that reveals some of the story’s mystery while also bringing up more questions.

Recommended to N3 learners and above.

ビブリア古書堂の事件手帖 〜栞子さんと奇妙な客人たち〜

Daisuke Goura has grown up being afraid of reading books. Following his grandmother’s death, he comes across her collection of Natsume Soseki books and finds the author’s signature in the novel, Sorekara.

I love mysteries that use the Sherlock and Watson character archetypes and this novel is no exception.

I would suggest this title to antiquarian book and mystery lovers!

Recommended to N2 learners and above.
