Weather-shooting-huts (German: “#Wetterschießhütte”) were built by winemakers in #Gumpoldskirchen near Vienna🇦🇹 around 1900 to prevent hails. They used explosives and a big horn to shoot at clouds.

In 1937 a weather-protection-screen (“#Wetterschutzschirm”, the tall mast with roof in the background) has been built to lower the tension of the storm clouds.

Wondering whether #JáraCimrman was involved in this.
