For my #Jarpedon fan vid for #TheLockedTomb, I'm getting sketches for about 4 seconds of song done per day. That's not bad, but I might try to up my pace a little. Though, I've got fan fics I want to write before I have to edit my third novel. And Pokemon DLC comes out soon.

For my #Jarpedon fan vid, I decided model Admiral Sarpedon's collar pips off of the Aotearoa New Zealand navy, except with skulls and bones in the design instead.

Anyway, "Grand Admiral" doesn't appear to be a rank that exists in the here and now, so I modeled his rank off that of a "Rear Admiral".

For my #Jarpedon fan vid, I think I'm going to do all the sketches first, like I did with my "Lose Yourself" fan vid. That way, if I set it aside because I want to play Pokemon, when I come back to it, the hardest part will be done.

Alright, preliminary resolutions are planned for my #Jarpedon fan vid.

I've got 81 1/4th images, so those will be 20 sheets of paper plus 1 image change if I can't even it out.

I've got 29 1/8th images, so that's 3 sheets of paper plus 3 images change.

I've got 23 1/16th images, so that's 1 sheet of paper plus 7 images change.

I think tomorrow I'll look to see if I can't even this out better. Still, 25ish sheets of paper isn't too bad to draw.

Alright! My #Jarpedon fan vid for #TheLockedTomb is plotted out. The plan is for there to be 142 unique images, with a few of those digitally created. The total number of frames will be higher, though, as images will get reused, edited, etc.

Next step is to figure out the resolution, as that will determine how many sheets of paper I will be using.

Also need to figure out if I can even do 16 images per sheet, or if 8 per sheet is the max that I can manage.

(My upcoming #Jarpedon fan vid will be legitimately for Adults, on the other hand, even if there's going to be a LOT covered by implication and insinuation than outright shown.)

Working on plotting out my #Jarpedon fan vid. To know what images go with each song lyrics, I first have to decide what I want to transpire in the video, and I'm finding that I'm going to have some time to kill. Will have to think on this.

Working on my #Jarpedon fan vid set to Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me', and oh my, yes, this is definitely a slower pace song than Eminem's "Lose Yourself", which I used for my last fan vid.

(I'm marking down in seconds how long each section of the lyrics is because that tells me how much time I have to work with for each segment of images/animation.)

I think I'm going to start my #Jarpedon fan vid once I finish Tears of the Kingdom, which'll probably be this weekend. I may or may not finish before the Pokemon Violet DLC comes out, but the DLCs don't take long to play through. And then I'll start Pokemon Omega Ruby either when I finish the fan vid or when I'm close to being done.
