"Our party consists of twenty four men and boys, having nineteen Horses to convey the Luggage and passengers. We continue our Journey until 2 pm when we Encampt in a Small plain extending from base to base of the bounding Mountains, with a small stream meandering through it. It is named the Buffaloe Encampment. Our route has been by a tolerably good Track, the path thro' the Woods being clear, with a good hard footing for our Horses... #History #JasperValley
