@timelfen – Very accurate description of how #JCLS operates! – Open-source software, in-kind contributions (publicly financed), various kinds of expertise, volunteer work, a sense of mission, all come together to make a small, scholarly-led, Diamond Open Access journal possible. – I think 1000€ could work very well if (a) the in-kind contributions remain in place and (b) journals are run in groups, creating some economies of scale. It's not about a full-cost calculation! ^cs
