I've been wondering if they ran into film-rights problems or just time and money issues making them difficult to update to current production quality.

Listening to Hollywood: An Oral History by #SamWasson and #JeanineBasinger - a terrific book. The audiobook, however, I want to take the readers aside for a little lesson on how to pronounce Kunbrick, Preminger, toots and gaudy. I've done voiceovers for books and you check this stuff

I had my #JeanineBasinger book as a good luck charm. I'd highly recommend it. Such a great idea! Reading it one can imagine the likes of #BetteDavis #OliviadeHavilland #IrvingRapper and co just sitting round a table and talking about #Hollywood.
