Holy frick, just saw this in an #FS1 ad, #Jeep's #2024Wrangler is a plug-in hybrid #EV! Some dude over the weekend at the wedding said that they're not making plug-in hybrids anymore. Hope it's not true, but in any case, I'm glad this exists

I was once at a red light and the #driver of Escalade rolled down his window and said “you need to stay out of the road. You’re taking up too much space!” This happened again with the driver of a lifted #Jeep. I’m the #roadhog apparently.

I’ve had several drivers yell “Get a car!!!” at me, which is still very confusing logic.

#montag… 🥱 Gestern war so schön und viel zu kurz. Im #offroadparkbayern hat ein Freund sein Geburtstagsgeschenk eingelöst, und was hatten wir für einen Spaß! Und er kann jetzt Automatikgetriebe fahren 😄 Seine Frau ist dann auch eine Runde im #jeep gefahren, und anschließend waren wir essen. Ein toller Sonntag!

After the rear 4-link conversion, my XJ needs a rear sway bar. I'm using a WJ rear sway bar, but installing it in the front of the axle (vs. the WJ's rear-axle position). I've made some custom brackets for the axle-side and tacked those in. The body-side is complicated though - XJ's don't have a frame and the body is largely just sheet metal. You can see in the photos that there's a fold in the metal where I want the mount to go. So I gotta make a box. To be continued. #jeep #jeepxj #fabrication

The "air up" process is kind of bitter sweet. It means the trail is over and we're about to go our separate ways. It also usually means lunch/dinner with close friends where we talk about how much fun we just had.

So hatte u.a. #Jeep für die #EU die teilmontierten Fahrzeuge aus #Kanada nach #Österreich verfrachtet und dort zusammensetzen lassen.
Das waren €5k-10k an #Zoll die so nicht beim #Kaufpreis aufgeschlagen wurden.
Gilt umgekehrt auch: #Ford hatte versucht ne Kompaktwagen-Marke (#Merkur) mit in #Köln gefertigten Modellen zu starten und das Floppte wegen Strafzöllen und hoher DM/USD-Kurse.

Throwback to my first Easter #Jeep Safari. I'd just finished the first iteration of my #jeepxj build and it didn't disappoint. Lifting a tire on Hell's Gate is pretty exciting though. I don't recommend it haha.
