Unicef (NZ) confirms that their former chair, Linda Jenkinson, was removed due to “contractual irregularities” and “an undeclared conflict of interest” in regard to the basement office she rented to the organisation. In particular, they note the "refurbishments" undertaken.
“[Unicef] is seeking full recovery of operating expenses owed by Linda Jenkinson in relation to this office space.”
What's going on at Unicef NZ?
Former prominent person Linda Jenkinson has been sacked as board chair due to "contractual irregularities". That's connected to the organisation rapidly deserting it's new premises in a Willis Street building owned by Jenkinson.
Nobody is saying much. The New Zealand operation is licenced by Unicef to use its brand.

My PhD student sent me this https://fineartbiblio.com/artworks/ilya-and-emilia-kabakov/1945/the-man-who-never-threw-anything-away-the-garbage-man
She's a practice-based #CollaborativeDoctoralAward student researching resilience in the #TextileIndustry in post-1970 #Manchester and #Textiles as a #PlaceMaker.
We discussed #Archives and how different people understand that word differently. #IlyaKabakov's piece #TheGarbageMan brings up #Jenkinson vs #Schellenberg for me. Who has the right to say what comprises the archive?
