Wife of #Republican politician #JeremyTaylor charged with #VoterFraud.

Kim Phuong Taylor, 49, allegedly perpetrated a scheme to generate votes in the primary election in June 2020, when her husband was an unsuccessful candidate for #Iowa's 4th US Congressional District, and subsequently in the 2020 general election, when her husband was a successful candidate for Woodbury County Supervisor.

Taylor faces 52 counts in the indictment, up to 5 years per count if convicted.

Anne Finch was born #OTD 1631. She was married to Edward Conway, later (in 1755) the 3rd Viscount Conway (English) and 3rd Viscount Killultagh (Irish).

#AnneConway was never in Ireland but she had Irish connections: she corresponded with philosophers #RobertBoyle and #DorothyMoore (and possibly #LadyRanelagh).

She also knew #JeremyTaylor. Her husband brought Taylor to Portmore Co. Antrim in 1658, probably to protect him.
