If we don't expect medical students to know material WHEN they graduate, should we require them to know it (at least long enough to take a proximal MCQ exam) at some earlier point in their undergraduate education? If the answer is YES, why should they know that material earlier? If the answer is NO, why include that material in the curriculum at all?
