It's been four days since I realized that #JesseSingal had cited my blog post in one of his podcast episodes--motherfucker must be really scrapping the bottom for such a niche thing to be outrage fodder.

At any rate, past me did me a solid when, in all her glorious ignorance, set up moderation for all first time commenters. It's even better than turning comments off. They get to rant into the abyss.

Note: every so often I get spikes of views on that post since it came up, as new readers find it through reddit, and generally nothing more happens, but this is #JesseSingal, and who knows how that fucker is framing the post (and me).

Good Jebus--#JesseSingal discovered my (year and a half old) post on the ill-conceived and worse-executed plan to remake Worth's Peacock Dress, and I'm now one of the sources he links to in a recent 'premium' episode in his podcast. (I mention that it's premium because it's locked to paying subscribers, and Singal can rot in hell for eternity before I pay him one cent, and also, I can't tell what he says of me).
